Clare Connors began her legal career in public service, representing the United States of America as a trial attorney prosecuting fraud, child exploitation crimes and other felony offenses. Her diverse legal experience serves her well in her civil law practice and at Davis Levin Livingston, she represents clients in cases involving medical malpractice, personal injury, consumers’ rights, civil rights, commercial disputes and insurance bad faith matters. Ms. Connors’ experience as a criminal and civil litigator, alongside her unwavering commitment to helping others, allows her to secure the best result for every client she represents.

Ms. Connors was raised in Hawai‘i. She double-majored at Yale, graduating with honors, and went on to serve as Operations Coordinator for the City of New York, Parks & Recreation Department under Mayor Rudolph Giuliani. In 1999, she left the Parks Department to attend Harvard Law School, where she earned her Juris Doctor degree.

Upon graduating from Harvard Law School, Ms. Connors returned to Hawai‘i and clerked for U.S. District Court Judge David Alan Ezra. She then joined the Department of Justice (DOJ) in Washington, D.C., as part of the Attorney General’s Honors program, and worked as a trial attorney for the DOJ Tax Division. She was assigned to the Eastern District of Virginia as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney and in 2004, Ms. Connors returned home to work as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the District of Hawai‘i. Ms. Connors joined Davis Levin Livingston in 2011, transitioning from criminal to civil law.

Ms. Connors is admitted to practice in New York and both the state and federal courts in Hawai‘i. She participates in a number of professional activities through both the state and federal bar associations, and has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Hawaii William S. Richardson School of Law.
